Tiffany Reisz: The Confessions

Series: The Original Sinners
Blurb:
Three Sinners. Three confessions. And all the dirty little secrets you could possibly desire…
Father Stuart Ballard has been Marcus Stearns' confessor since the young Jesuit was only eighteen years old. He thought he'd heard every sin the boy had to confess until Marcus uttered those three fateful words: „I met Eleanor.”
So begins the 40-page „The Confession of Marcus Stearns,” a moving coda to the RITA Award-winning Original Sinners series. Originally published as a limited-edition paperback for the 2014 RT Booklovers' Convention, and available worldwide for the first time.
This collection also includes „The Confession of Eleanor Schreiber,” a companion 36-page story written exclusively for The Confessions.
And, finally, all secrets are revealed in „The Confession of Tiffany Reisz,” an exclusive, in-depth interview.

My Review:

OMG!!! Thanks Tiffany! I needed this book! Can we love Søren more? YES! I loved this book because it was about Søren's and Nora's feelings.
Now we know how Søren really felt when he met Eleanor. He really fell in love with her when they first met. It was good to read about his feelings, his uncertainty, his doubts. Now I can see, he wasn't so sure about how he should behave with Eleanor. He went to Father Stuart Ballard asking for his help, for guidelines. We can see now that Søren is not just an arrogant, sexy sadist, he is also human. He has feelings, doubts, and he has a sweet (YES sweet) side!
"She ... she makes me laugh. I feel human with her. I don't feel human very often, but I do with her. (...) If I wasn't sure I was human before, I am now. She makes me weak."
I love Father Ballard! :) He is the opposite of Søren. Søren is old-fashioned, Ballard is not or not so much.  I thought Father Ballard is an old-fashioned, (i'm sorry) boring priest, BUT no! I liked him very much!!! Love their conversations! I was laughing a lot! :) For example:
"Years ago, Kingsley and I were-"  "I don't want to hear the end of that sentence."   "Talking"   "Just talking? Good."   "I waited until we were done talking to beat him and fuck him."   " Oh God, you do this to me on purpose."    "Of courese I do. I'm a sadist."
( There's a lot of conversations like this one! C'mon! Buy it!!!)

On the other hand Ballard is so wise, he is a good priest:
"Love is never a sin. If it's a sin it's not love. And if it's love it's not a sin."
"Even the most intelligent people have to be reminded of the obvious sometimes. You are not judged by what you think, but what you do."
"A heart's a labyrinth, even our own hearts, even to us."
"there is no such thing as simple life. We all want it, all seek it. It doesn't exist. (...) The simple life is a mirage. It's like a perfect clean and polished wine glass, And you want that pristine chalice, but the second you reach out and pick it up, it's covered in your fingerprints, It's only clean until it's yours, then it's dirty. That's the simple life. It's simple until you show up and start using it."
It's not secret that Nora is not my favourite character (because she slept a lot of people besides Søren. If I love someone I have sex only with him, dispite the fact that he is a priest), but I liked reading her confession. Now I reconcile with her. :)  I didn't read the series because of her, my favourites are Søren, Kingsley, Wes. And now Father Ballard is became one of my favourite characters!
Everyone who loves the Series should read this collection! And who haven't read the series yet should start it! I'm not kinky, I'm vanilla, but I loved the whole series, some things bothered me, and I had to take a break, but these books are much more then the kinky sex. I love the author's style.
In the end of this collection there's an interview too, with some interesting stuff! Read it!

Véleményem:
Istenem! Köszönöm Tiffany! Nagyon kellett nekem ez a könyv! Lehet még jobban szeretni Sørent? Igen!
Szerettem a párbeszédeiket, sokat nevettem!
A sorozat végére megbékéltem vele.

    1. Hogy mikor jelenik meg magyarul? Ez jó kérdés! Előbb mind a nyolc résznek meg kellene jelennie... Hol is tartunk most? az ötödiknél?
