OMG! This was soo good and I want more! I think Laurelin should write a full story with this couple. In which, I'd like to read a few chapters in Steel's POV. ;)
I loved the writing style as always. I devoured this book in record time. This story was hot and I really needed this right now. It's only a novella, it wasshort. But I hooked on the story so I'd love to read more about them.
Simone wasn't the usual female character. She isn't a sweet or shy or uncertain woman. She is determined woman, who gets what she wants. She hate everyone (with a few exceptions). I think think she made the story more interesting.
Steel was a hot, cooky billionaire, who gets what he wants. And he wanted Simone.
Their first encounter was so exciting. They had chemistry from the first time. I couldn't wait them to act on it. Despite the fact that it was only a novella the story was building slowly. And I loved this. They didn't jump in bed in the first chapter. They played a cat-mouse game.
What I missed.... Steel's point of view. I think he is an interesting character and I'd love to know him more...
