If she’d needed a day or two in bed, upset and processing and obsessively looking through pictures of the event on social media, what would that have mattered? 


I trusted her to come back to me when she was through her anxiety. 

Maybe that was the key. Maybe she wasn’t punishing me —but rather, was testing me. Seeing if I was capable of actually letting her go to work and not interfering. Not showing up, cold and demanding, when she lost track of time. 

Because in truth, I was the one who wasn’t strong enough. 

For all that I blamed her for giving in to her overactive mind, I was the one who worried too much. Who was overprotective. Who couldn’t handle the thought of her suffering, even only slightly. She was the one who alerted me to possibilities, her mind skittering from one thing to the next even as she stayed my rock. 

The truth was, without me, Alayna was still brilliant and clever and lovely and big-hearted and enough. 

But without her, I was nothing.


My Review:
I loved this book as much as the others. It was sweet, hot, and exciting.
What I really really loved about this book that it was written in alternate POVs. I loved to read their thoughts and feelings
I love Hudson! He is a perfect husband and dad. I loved to read about his feelings. He adored his wife and kids. He did everything for them. And when someone threatened him and his family he reacted perfectly. I could hug him!
Alayna-my precious, my world, my light, my life
She was my everything. Every moment I had lived without her was cold and empty in comparison. 
I loved Alayna too. As a mother I could imagine what she felt. I understood her insecurities, her problems.
You're mine, because you fill every part of me. Every cell, every molecule. Every dark shadow within me, you are there, bringing light. No one can take that away from us, no matter what they want. You're mine because I don't exist without you. How much more mone can you be that that?
They were perfect together. I loved them all.
You should do something for yourself-and your husband. Something that isn't at all about your identity as a mother. Is that really all you exist for now? To feed and clothe and protect and shuttle around these little humans? Yes, they're important, but if you start acting like the only part of yourself that you're obliged to is your motherly side, you're not going to be any good for them. You need to be a complete person, whole, entire.
The plot was interesting and exciting. In the end I couldn't put the book down.
Dreams don't come true from dreaming them-they come true from holding them.
I recommend this book to those who loved Alayna and Hudson in the previous books. I loved them and it was really good to read about them again.

Ezt a könyvet éppen annyira szerettem, mint az elő részeket. Egyszerre volt édes, szexi és érdekes.
Amit igazán szerettem ebben a könyvben, hogy váltott nézőpontban íródott, nagyon tetszett, hogy mindkettejük gondolatait olvashattuk, és megismerhettek mindekettejük érzéseit.
Egyszerűen imádtam Hudsont. Tökéletes férj és apa volt, nagyon jó volt az érzéseiről olvasni. Imádja a feleségét és gyerekeit, mindent megtesz értük. És amikor valaki megfenyegette a családját tökéletesen reagált, meg tudtam volna ölelni!
Szerettem Alaynát is. Mint anya teljesen át tudtam érezni a helyzetét. Megértettem őt, megértettem a bizonytalanságát és félelmeit is.
Tökéletesek voltak együtt, minden szereplőt szerettem.
A cselekmény izgalmas és érdekes volt, a vége fele alig tudtam letenni a könyvet.
Ajánlom ezt a könyvet azoknak, akik szeretik Hudson-Alayna párost. Nagyon jó volt újra olvasni róluk.
