My Review:
I have to tell you I love the hockey stars on Hawthorne University. :) I love the author's writing, her style. She created a perfect couple this time too. I couldn't put the book down, I read it in one day! It was a heart-warming, second chance romance.
I loved that it was written in alternate point of views.
I liked Julia. She was in trouble, she had a hard life with her mother, but she was strong, and then Eric came to help her... They had a past a few years ago, he broke her heart. Eric was a tipical womanizer back then. He had her then left her.
As I read Eric's POV I understood why was he that way. He went through a lot, he had a traumatic past and his parents didn't care what he wanted.
Both Julia and Eric were complex characters, I loved that about them. They felt real, they weren't perfect, and this was what I love in a book. I could understand them, and I understood their feelings.
I think this book is a perfect read for a weekend or for a holiday by the pool or on the beach. I loved it! Top recommendation!
