  Blurb:
Their relationship changes again when Celia learns the devil takes care of his own. Edward Fasbender is my savior. From the ashes of who I once was, he is helping me to rise. He has a list of people who have wronged him. And now he's adding names to that list. Names that I gave him. And we will have our revenge.

  Excerpt:
Inside the windowed room, I set one of the glasses on a table next to the loveseat then dimmed the overhead before taking the other glass to the armchair across from it. The string of lights that had been put up outside for the party were still lit, creating a romantic mood. Not exactly what I was going for, but it would do. In my experience, the darker setting made confessions easier. I stretched my neck, easing the knots there as I looked out over the yard. The day had been busy and full, and the party had been, by all accounts, successful, but I’d spent the entire time preoccupied with Edward. Even when entertaining strangers or running around trying to find Ilsa to tell her we were out of toilet paper, I’d been aware of my husband. He was a magnetic force, always pulling my thoughts and my body in his direction. Like gravity holding me in his orbit. I’d never felt that way about anyone before. Not just that in love but also that attached. I was still reeling from the newness of it, eighteen months after we’d wed. I was also still adjusting to the way he affected me. How he’d brought me peace yet could stir up levels of jealousy within me that I’d never thought possible. His trip to the garden with Marion was innocent—it had to be considering the way he grinned at me when he’d returned. The devil himself wouldn’t flaunt his discretions so openly. Would he?

My Review:
Book three in the Slay series was soo good! I didn't think I would love the book, but yes Laurelin Paige achieved that I fell for Edward and she made the reader like Celia as well.
This book was totally different from the previous books in the series. In Revenge we became to know Celia more, we learnt about her hurt and about her awful past. I loved reading how Edward helped her move on, and became a whole, real person again. He healed her. Sometimes I doubted his methods but I realized that Celia needed a man exactly like him. Laurelin created the perfect boyfriend for Celia.
And what's the most amazing thing about this story? That the author absolutely changed my mind about Celia. In the Fixed series I hated her and now knowing how many awful things happened with her somehow I understand her, or her behavior and I started to like her. This feeling developed slowly, in the previous books I was curious about her but not really liked her. Now this changed.
I loved reading Edward's point of view. He simply made me like (or even love) him with his caring and with his actions which helped Celia.
The last third of the book was really really exciting, I couldn't put the book down.
And of course the book ended in an epic cliffhanger. I'm so curious what will happen with them. I love them together.

Megismertük a szörnyűmúltját, a fájdalmát.
De most, megétem a viselkedését.

  About the Author:
With millions of books sold worldwide, Laurelin Paige is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or Letterkenny, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.
