Paper Hearts by Shey Stahl~ARC review

 My Review:

Honestly when I started and saw that the most part of the book was playing in the past when they were only teenagers I didn't think I would like it. BUT these chapters were so needed. I couldn't put it down when I finished a chapter, always wanted to know what happened next.

In the beginning they were young, especially Hads, she was only thirteen. I think the author described perfectly a 13 year old girl's thoughts about guys, love, life. Her character was so realistic. 

Ender was a troubled guy, but something happened when he met Hads. They became friends and honestly they fell in love from the beginning. Love at first sight? Maybe... :) 

I absolutely loved that he was patient with Hads. He was waiting for her. But I didn't like their first time together. I know, I know we became to know Ender more later, why he was like that but I was mad at him because of the way he took Hads' virginity.

In the beginning I didn't understand Ender but as I was reading the book slowly everything became clear. He had issues, he went through awful things and I loved how he slowly opened up to Hadleigh.

This book was full of secrets, and surprises and these made the story more interesting. What I really loved:  Hads and Arya's friendship. They were always there for each other.

I didn't really say anything negative about the book, maybe just one thing: The story was written in Hadleigh's pov but I would have liked to read Ender's point of view as well. 

The characters were well-written and I liked the author's writing style. 4*

Véleményem:

Őszintén szólva, mikor elkezdtem olvasni nem gondoltam volna, hogy tetszeni fog ez a könyv, mert láttam, hogy a sztori nagy része a múltban játszódik, amikor a szereplők még csak tinik voltak. De ahogy belemélyedtem a könyvbe rájöttem, hogy kellettek ezek a részek is, hogy teljes legyen a történet.

A könyv elején nagyon fiatalok voltak. Hads mindösszesen 13 éves volt. Úgy gondolom az írónő nagyon jól megalkotta Hads karakterét, teljesen jól bemutatta egy 13 éves lány gondolatait a szerelemről, a srácokról és az életről. Nagyon valóságos volt a karaktere.

Ender problémás srác volt, de valami történt vele, mikor megismerkedett Hadleigh-al. Barátok lettek és már a legelején szerelmesek lettek ha őszinték akarunk lenni. Szerelem első átásra? Talán... :) 

Ami nagyon nagyon tetszett, hogy Ender türelmes volt Hadi-vel. Várt rá és visszafogta magát éveking. De nekem nagyon nem tetszett az első együttlétük. Tudom, tudom később kedrül miért lett Ender olyan amilyen, de akkor is haragudtam rá amiért úgy vette el Hads szüzességét ahogy.

Az elején nem igazán értettem Ender-t, de ahogy haladtam a történettel egyre inkább tisztább lett  a kép róla. Nehéz gyerekkora volt, szörnyű dogokon ment keresztül, de tetszett, ahogy lassanként megnyílt Hadleigh-nak.

A könyv tele volt titkokkal és meglepetésekkel, amik érdekesebbé tették a történetet. Ami nagyon tetszett az Hads és Arya kapcsolata, nagyon jó barátnők lettek, mindig számíthattak egymásra.

Nem igazán tudok negatív dolgot mondani a történetről, talán csak egy dolog hiányzott nekem: A történet Hads nézőpontjában íródott és én nagyon olvastam volna Ender gondolatait és nézőpontját is.

Tetszett az írónő stílusa, jól megírt szereplőket kaptunk. 4*
