So... this book was good. I couldn't put it down. It was exciting, a really good mafia romance.
I loved that it was written in dual point of view.
I loved that we could read about Cruz' thoughts, how he became a criminal, the Devil. But honestly, first I was really mad at him (and Alejandro) because Cruz became a devil too.
Because on order to meet The Devil I needed to say goodbye... .... to my father.
Somehow I understood why he changed but I would have loved to read about that he was different than his father. Despite this, I liked him. He was loyal and protective. He really cared about Sienna.
I'll kill for you. I'll die for you. But don't think for one fucking second that I'll protect you... from me.
I liked Sin, I really liked her. She was a strong woman, she was born into this world and wanted to change this. She wanted to be far from the mafia and from this lifestyle. She hated it. And I understood why she hated Cruz in the beginning.
It was love at first sight for Cruz and while they were living together Sin started to care about him too.
Our connection was brought on by darkness and still, she became this beacon of light in my dark life.
I loved the plot, and something happened (I won't spoil) which made the story so so exciting I could't put the book down.
I think the characters were perfect for each other, they were well-written, complex characters. I loved Sin from the beginning, but I became fond of Cruz too despite the fact that he was a mafioso.
So if you want to read a good mafia romance I recommend this book for you. 5*

Hol is kezdjem? Szerettem ezt a könyvet. Izgalmas volt, olyannyira, hogy nem is tudtam letenni. Igazán jó maffia románc (ha van ilyen kifejezés, ha nincs most csináltam :D )
Nagyon bejött, hogy kettős nézőpontból íródott a sztori. Szerettem olvasni Cruz gondolatait, így láthattam, hogy vált bűnözővé, hogyan vált az Ördöggé. De őszintén, először nagyon mérges voltam rá, és Alejandro-ra, azért mert Cruz a fia olyanná vált, mint ő. Szerettem volna olvasni arról, hogy ő felülemelkedik mindenen, és más lesz, mint az apja. De valahol megértettem, miért lett olyan amilyen. Ettől függetlenül kedveltem a karakterét, hűséges volt, és mindenáron megvédte azt, ami az övé. Siennát is védte, igazán törődött vele.
Sin-t kedveltem, nagyon is kedveltem. Ő egy nagyon erős nő volt, aki beleszületett ebbe a maffiás életformába, de mindenáron ki akart ebből keveredni. Gyűlölte, távol akart kerülni ettől az életmódtól, egyszerű, normális életet akart élni. Ezért is tudtam megérteni, hogy az elején miért utálta Cruz-t.
Míg Cruz számára ez szerelem volt első látásra, addig Siennában fokozatosan alakultak ki az érzelmek, ahogy együtt életek egyre inkább elkezdett törődni Cruzzal.
Nagyon tetszett a cselekmény, és történt valami a sztoriban (amit persze nem árulok el), ami miatt a könyv letehetetlenné vált számomra.
Véleményem szerint a szereplők tökéletesek voltak egymásnak, jól megírt, komplex karaktereket alkotott az írónő. Míg Sin-t a legelejétől kezdve szerettem, addig Cruzt csak később kedveltem meg (mindannak ellenére, hogy egy maffiózó).
Azoknak akiknek tetszett az első rész, és olvasni akarnak még egy jó kis maffiás történetet, azoknak ajánlom ezt a részt is! 5*
